Booking appointments

Peaceful Pets generally books out 2 weeks in advance. Giving as much advanced notice as possible is always favored and appreciated. We generally say "as soon as you make your travel arrangements, please take a moment to make arrangements for your pets." A minimum of two visits per day are required for pets staying at home while their owners are away. Last minute requests are extremely difficult to fulfill, and we will try to do what we can to accommodate our clients. Having a key on file with us does not guarantee you an appointment. 48 hours notice is requested for cancellations. A fee may apply.

Holiday booking

Holidays are the busiest times of the year for us. We also have limited availability at this time as we enjoy seeing our friends and family as well. All Thanksgiving requests MUST be received by Oct 31st, and requests for Dec 20- Jan 1st MUST be made by Nov 15th. Requests received after this time will be put on a waiting list. A 25% fee will be applied for any cancellations whose spaces cannot be filled.

Payment

Payment is due at the beginning of scheduled visits. A hand-written receipt will be left. Clients may request a copy of their invoice to be emailed to them. If additional supplies are needed, Peaceful Pets will purchase what is necessary with the understanding that reimbursement will be made by the owner. A $20 fee may apply.

Key pick-up and return

Peaceful Pets will retain a key at the time of contract signing. Your key will be returned within 7 days of the end of the contract period when requested. For return customers we recommend keeping a key on file. For your added security, keys are coded with a number system in a locked security box so your personal information is not connected to your key. Peaceful Pets reserves the right to charge a $10-15 fee for multiple key pick ups and returns.
